Our program is tailor made for toddlers to teens, designed to be interesting, engaging, and helpful no matter what age the children. The yoga techniques are taught by carefully trained instructors who have an aptitude for working with youths, and the energy and enthusiasm needed to do it successfully.

The techniques of relaxation can be quickly and easily learned by children. They quickly discover how much fun it is to kick back, learn a new yoga posture, exercise, and enjoy meditation while learning healthy habits that will stay with them through life.

Our unique yoga for kids experience means that now relaxation techniques can be taught when and where it’s convenient for everyone, including parents who have to make all the arrangements work. It’s a lot easier for one instructor to come to your site than for 10 parents to be tied up getting 10 children to the instructor.

Sometimes people think they need a big or elaborate space to host a Yoga 4Kids group. But almost any place will do. We don’t need a lot of space, and we certainly don’t need anything fancy to teach yoga to kids. They’re more interested in what they’re doing than where they’re doing it.

Yoga and fitness work best when everyone’s comfortable. Upon meeting with the children, we organize the groups according to age, limits of physical stamina, and prior exposure to yoga, in order to determine appropriate levels of instruction and exercise.

Then we get started teaching. But it sure isn’t school! This is fun. Our activities and games introduce your children to a life enhancing practice of good habits, positive attitude and fun physical education that can help provide a natural approach that improves wellness, encourage exercise, and provide discipline and direction that is beneficial in all aspects of a child’s life

A Custom Place for Fitness

dhYoga and Fitness has developed a highly structured goal-oriented, 30-minute exercise workout for kids that incorporates yoga poses, breathing exercises, and physical activity. As the class progresses, we adjust the level of the total workout, so it’s always the right level.

As with all dhYoga and Fitness programs, each student’s participation is closely monitored by our staff. Our interested and involved teachers offer ongoing evaluation, assistance, and encouragement. Each yoga class is limited in size to insure the utmost in professional instruction and personal attention.

We take the fussiness out of the workout routine when teaching yoga to children. We make it fun for kids. Most of our instructors are parents themselves, and they understand the motivational tools and immediate rewards that work. They also understand the benefits of Yoga 4Kids which brings exercise, wellness, fitness, and relaxation.
